Vail Commons
Vail Commons is the primary dining option available on campus, offering dine-in and carry-out options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week.
At Vail Commons, we welcome various payment options, including meal plan options, Dining Dollars, Declining Balance, and credit cards. Guests dining in the facility may enjoy a range of all-you-care-to-eat options such as hot entrées, plant-based choices, an extensive salad bar, desserts, beverages, and much more!
Green Box Program
We also offer fresh to-go meals with a one-time $10 fee. Once payment is accepted, participants will receive a large three-compartment box and also a smaller side item box. Bring back the boxes cleaned during your next Vail Commons visit and a Dining Services team member will give you new boxes or a keychain for the next time you'd like a take out meal. Join our Green Box program and enjoy your meals on the go.
Reserve the Annex!
Turn your next meeting into a ‘chow down breakdown’ at the Annex in Vail Commons. Reserve the room during any meal period at Vail Commons and enjoy private discussions with peers, colleagues, or club members as you dine. The Annex comfortably seats 16 and is equipped with a dry erase board and wall monitor.
Please note guests must purchase meals at Vail Commons to attend. Dining Dollars, meal swipes, credit cards, departmental charge and P-Cards are accepted. Please contact Bonnie Dunavent, 704-894-2511 or bodunavent@davidson.edu, to reserve the Annex for your next group meeting!
