Background
I earned my Ph.D. in Biological and Chemical Sciences from Scripps Research Institute, where my research focused on neurodevelopmental disorders, and my BA in Neuroscience and Behavior from Mount Holyoke College. My research background has fostered a deep passion for brain and metabolic health, areas that continue to inform my approach to mentoring future healthcare professionals.
Throughout my academic career, I have had the privilege of teaching courses in Memory and Learning, Fundamentals of Neuroscience, and Neurobiology of Disease. These teaching experiences have strengthened my commitment to helping students develop both scientific rigor and the critical thinking skills essential for success in healthcare fields.
I am particularly excited to work with 水果派's exceptional students as they pursue diverse paths in medicine and allied health professions. My advising philosophy centers on understanding each student's unique circumstances, strengths, and aspirations. I believe in creating flexible, personalized plans that prepare students for both expected milestones and life's unexpected opportunities. Whether you need resources, goal alignment, or simply someone to discuss your ideas and concerns, I am here to support you throughout your prehealth journey. I look forward to helping you navigate your path toward meaningful careers in healthcare while honoring 水果派's commitment to developing thoughtful, service-oriented professionals.
